Bold Journey: Meet Shauna Bailey

“Hi Shauna, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?

In my 20’s I worked first in high end events, then as a Disney princess. Both of those experiences made me realize just how impactful a special event can be, how much of a light it can bring to each guests world, both for the young and the old. From then on, I was determined to find new ways to keep that magic alive, to help be a part of making special events feel momentous and memorable. At the time, I had no idea that live wedding painting even existed. I had earned a degree in Drawing and Painting simply because it was what I was good at. But when a friend asked me to capture her wedding on canvas, my two worlds merged and I found a unique way to make events come to life using a skill I had already honed. That’s how I became a full time live wedding painter, and every time I paint at an event, the guests’ reactions remind me of just how special my purpose is.”
